NANCY BOTTING
Registered Sport Physiotherapist

Nancy is a graduate of Queen's University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Physical Education. She also holds a Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy (specialist) and a Certificate in Medical Acupuncture. She is a clinical lecturer within the School of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Nancy specializes in a manual therapy approach to her treatments and exercise based sport injury rehabilitation techniques. She is a certified Pilates instructor and teaches Pilates classes for Physical Edge clients at Creating Space Yoga studio.
Nancy was a member of the Canadian Medical Team at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics & 2004 Athens, 2008 Beijing, 2012 London Paralympics and Toronto 2015 PanAm and ParaPan Am Games. She was Chief Therapist for Team Canada at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games and 2018 PyeongChang Winter Paralympic Games and has recently again been named Chief Therapist for Team Canada at the 2020+1 Tokyo Paralympic Games.
Nancy is a former National Team Sprint Kayaker and continues to race internationally in Outrigger Canoe and Surfski.

Mary is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a Master of Physical Therapy and an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. Her treatment approach incorporates manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture and individualized exercise programs helping people to achieve their goals of returning to their normal activities at home, work and sport. Mary is dedicated to enhancing her clinical skills and continues to attend a variety of post-graduate courses as well as volunteering her time as part of the medical team at many sporting events.
ARTHUR PAMPLONA NOLASCO

Arthur graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Ramapo College in 2012 and furthered his education in 2015 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers University in the United States.
Arthur has practiced in the outpatient orthopaedic field where he has experience in sports related rehabilitation, and he specializes in the treatment a variety of orthopedic conditions with manual therapy and corrective exercise prescription. He has continued his education to include advanced manual therapy techniques and acupuncture training.
While working in the US, Arthur gained experience working within the neurological field of Physical Therapy with post stroke rehabilitation, post joint replacement and those patients with neurological disorders such as Guillain-Barre Syndrome and Multiple Sclerosis.
Having recently moved from the United States, Arthur is now a Registered Physiotherapist in Canada after completing the Canadian licensing examination. We are excited to welcome Arthur to Physical Edge and look forward to the sharing the experience that he brings to our team!
PATTY FRASER

Patty is a graduate of Western University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She is AFCI certified in acupuncture. Patty loves to learn and has continued her professional development with numerous courses in manual therapy, muscle imbalances, exercise therapy, acupuncture, concussion management and vestibular rehabilitation. Her years of experience combined with an active and collaborative rehab approach empower her clients with orthopedic and sports injuries to achieve their goals.
Outside the clinic for years Patty acted as a trainer for her daughter’s hockey and softball teams. Her interests include hiking, yoga, dragon boating, golf, horseback riding, photography and travel.
Patty also speaks French and Spanish. We are thrilled to have Patty join our Team at Physical EDGE !

Dr. Douglas Dittmer runs a sport injury and musculoskeletal consultancy clinic at Physical Edge Physiotherapy. Dr. Dittmer is a graduate of Queen’s University and McMaster University and has over 25 years experience as a medical doctor with specialty in Physiatry and Sport Medicine. He has been a Team Canada Physician for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games, 3 Paralympic Games.and the Toronto 2015 PanAm and ParaPanAm games. He recently completed a term as the president of the Canadian Academy of Sport Medicine Physicians.

Amaya is a RMT, SMT(cc), CST graduating with her Massage Therapy diploma from Sutherland Chan in 2002. She has an active interest in sports, having been a former national level junior tennis player and rep soccer player. She is also a certified tennis instructor. Amaya is a member of the CMTO & the Canadian Sports Massage Therapists Association and enjoys working with athletes at all levels from weekend warriors to professionals. She has been part of the Medical Team at various Events & Major Games some of which include the Core Medical RMT for the Team Canada at the Rio Paralympic Games, IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships, a Lead Therapist for Soccer at TO2015 Pan Am Games, Parapan Am Games, Invictus Games, National Swimming Championships, the York Swim Club, Women's Lacrosse, 2014 FIFA World Cup, Canada Summer Games, Women's Hockey Worlds. Amaya is Canada's Chief Classifier for Para-Badminton and a BWF International Classifier.
Amaya has recently been selected as a member of the Core Medical Team for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

LINDSAY CHAMBERLAIN

Lindsay Chamberlain is an RMT, graduating from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. Lindsay also has a BScN from Sweden, where she worked as a Registered Nurse for 5 years. She has a passion for science, anatomy and the human body and enjoys incorporating this into her massage practice. Lindsay prides herself in continuing her education in her field and has taken courses such as hot stone and cupping to add to her treatments. As a massage therapist, Lindsay focuses on the needs of each individual client and can tailor each treatment accordingly. Lindsay’s massage experience includes treating injuries as well as treating patients in a spa setting. Whether you are injured or stressed out by life’s curveballs, Lindsay’s massages will leave your muscles thankful and your mind at ease.

LISA IRISH
Lisa Irish has a passion for biomechanics, anatomy, human gait and how all that works together in health and injury of the feet and legs. She is a Canadian certified pedorthist (C. Ped (C)), a professional trained in the assessment and treatment of foot and lower limb conditions and diseases using foot orthotics, footwear, footwear modifications and related devices. After graduating from Kinesiology she trained as a pedorthist and has been practicing clinically for over 30 years. Lisa has consulted internationally training and educating foot care professionals, leading workshops and presenting at conferences on pedorthic therapy. She is also a founding instructor and continues to teach at Western University in the Diploma in Pedorthics program. She has been the president of the Pedorthic Association of Canada and an active board and committee member. The Pedorthic Association of Canada awarded Lisa with their highest honour for leadership in the profession and community as well as the award of distinction twice over her long career. She is committed to multidisciplinary care for injuries and conditions of the lower limb and takes every opportunity to help people understand how pedorthic treatment, appropriately supporting the feet using footwear, orthotics and related devices, can affect their overall health.
