Core + Deep Tissue Release Yoga w Susanne

Work the entire core with this slow-paced class that incorporates functional movement and yoga poses that engage muscles of the torso, including the back and side body. Props such as pilates balls, blocks, bands, and straps are optional, and used to increase awareness and muscle engagement, or to assist in stretching (props are provided). No experience required, all are welcome.

This class uses props such as balls, blocks, and dowels, providing a deep tissue self-massage using a fusion of traditional Thai massage, reflexology, and yoga techniques as well as functional movement principles to target trigger points. Move at your own pace and control the pressure using your body weight and a variety of props.

This 60-minute class provides a solid foundation in yoga, emphasizing balance, stability, flexibility, and mobility to enhance overall health, well-being, and freedom of movement. Designed for all bodies, abilities, and experience levels, it fosters an inclusive, supportive, and non-judgmental atmosphere where everyone is welcome. By moving with intention and connecting to the breath, participants will cultivate calm, body awareness, and inner strength. The intimate group setting encourages both physical and mental well-being, helping students unlock the transformative benefits of yoga. Participants are invited to bring a yoga strap and blocks to enhance their practice.
We encourage participants to bring their own mats.
