MONDAY

Mobility Class w Dr. Andrew

  • 45 minute class with a focus of loosening your hips and shoulders to improve your sitting posture and lengthen out those “pesky” muscles that hold the tension in your neck – great way to start your work week. 

TUESDAY

12:15 - 12:45pm

Core Class w Sasha

  • 30-minute class to get you moving and activate your deep core muscles. Learn how safely strengthen and stabilize your lower back by strengthening your trunk muscles.

1:30 - 2:30pm

Chair Yoga & Functional Movement w Susanne

  • Using a chair in yoga lowers impact on joints, offers support for balance and for moving from standing to positions closer to the mat. In this accessible class you are encouraged to explore the many options for using the chair and other props in your practice

5:30 - 6:30pm

Core + Deep Tissue Release Yoga w Susanne

  • Work the entire core with this slow-paced class that incorporates functional movement and yoga poses that engage muscles of the torso, including the back and side body. Props such as pilates balls, blocks, bands, and straps are optional, and used to increase awareness and muscle engagement, or to assist in stretching (props are provided). No experience required, all are welcome.

  • This is a slower paced hatha-style class offering functional movement for joints and a balance of stretch and muscle engagement in yoga poses. Options are offered for all abilities and stages of practice. 

WEDNESDAY

  • This is a slower paced hatha-style class offering functional movement for joints and a balance of stretch and muscle engagement in yoga poses. Options are offered for all abilities and stages of practice. 

6:30 - 7:30pm

Deep Tissue Release Yoga w Susanne

  • This class uses props such as balls, blocks, and dowels, providing a deep tissue self-massage using a fusion of traditional Thai massage, reflexology, and yoga techniques as well as functional movement principles to target trigger points. Move at your own pace and control the pressure using your body weight and a variety of props.

Yoga for Athletes with Liza

  • This 60-minute class is designed to enhance strength, balance, mobility, and flexibility, empowering athletes to perform at their peak. Through targeted poses and mindful movement, participants will release tight muscles, improve joint mobility, and strengthen core stability. Created to complement athletic training, the class promotes recovery, reduces injury risk, and cultivates greater body awareness. Whether you're a runner, cyclist, or gym enthusiast, this session equips you with the tools to optimize performance and stay on track toward your athletic goals. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga strap and blocks to enhance their practice.

Introduction to Yoga w Liza

  • This 60-minute class provides a solid foundation in yoga, emphasizing balance, stability, flexibility, and mobility to enhance overall health, well-being, and freedom of movement. Designed for all bodies, abilities, and experience levels, it fosters an inclusive, supportive, and non-judgmental atmosphere where everyone is welcome. By moving with intention and connecting to the breath, participants will cultivate calm, body awareness, and inner strength. The intimate group setting encourages both physical and mental well-being, helping students unlock the transformative benefits of yoga. Participants are invited to bring a yoga strap and blocks to enhance their practice.

We encourage participants to bring their own mats.

 

Please note that we require to keep your credit card on file; however your card will only be charged AFTER attending your registered class.

 

24-hour notice is required if you are unable to attend a class you are registered for. Please notify us by sending an email to info@physicaledgephysio.com or calling us at 905-844-8425. Failure to notify us 24 hours prior to your class will result in a no show fee.
