Anatomy and Biomechanics

Tennis elbow is irritation of the tendons that attach forearm muscles to the outer elbow.

 

Signs and Symptoms

  • Pain on the outside of the elbow

  • Pain gripping or lifting objects

  • Forearm weakness

 

How Physiotherapy Helps

Treatment may include:

  • progressive tendon loading exercises

  • manual therapy

  • activity modification
